Textile scans

The main issue within my crit feedback was that my posters / flyers didn't communicate the themes of clothing and textiles. I tried adding a few illustrations but I don't particularly think they reflect the retro nature of kenny's clothing.

As an alternative route I visited Kenny's and managed to borrow some clothes and started scanning the fabric details. I felt the scanner was an appropriate route to take as using photography wouldn't have got the same levels of lighting / details in the fabrics. These are a few samples of what I have doing so far, I will continue scanning more pieces of clothing making sure that the colours / fabrics reflect retro clothing and materials.

I want to make sure that I take the idea further from simple just scanning the designs, I will experiment with photoshop / development using the scanner until I have backgrounds to use for the flyers.
