This design doesn't work as well over the whole typeface as it does for just the abc, it is repetative and although it does use more than one in ear headphone template, it could be pushed much further. The designs near the bottom where I was repeating letters, changing elements and concepts to see where it would take me, are where the typeface and ideas become a lot more interesting.
These designs play with the stroke of the letter forms as well as exploring how the simple headphone design can interact and replace large sections of the typeface and retain legibility. I was repeating the letters until I was happy with the finished designs, this development has really changed my ideas, over the next week I am going to redesign the type and produce another final typeface using this style as well as exploring putting my designs into illustrator.
