The main aspect of spice packaging that has drawn me to it is the natural beauty and colours produced without having to overpower with design. The beauty lies within the product and I feel this is the sort of approach I aim to take with my own work. Also there is a lot of room for conceptual approaches with the designs - possibly including a colour chart of different spices?
