Thinking about a colour and shape coding system for the course modules. I don't think I really pushed the ideas as far as I could of but I am really happy with the simple symbols I am going to focus on - The blue shapes with blue lines through the middle - circle, square, triangle, hexagon and a cross. I tried to keep the shapes consistent with the module codes - e.g the triangle has 3 sides and is OUGD103, Circle 1 side OUGD101 although this doesn't work with all of them it works with enough of the shapes to make the others easy to remember.
