We thought the best place to promote the day / event was through social networking websites so that the majority of people wouldn't have to sign up for anything to leave feedback. We created an open group on facebook which is currently on 120 members, and from there an event. We also did a survey and use tinurl.com to create a much shorter people link to access the sites.
