InDesign 2

Recreating image, using a ruler to scale the page first and decide on gutters etc. Setting up the page using the measurements left me with the settings below. Setting up with 3 pages so that you get a double page spread for 2 & 3. To get the first letter larger than the rest and keep in line see the second image, >Window >Type and Grid

Using photoshop to take out the unwanted areas in the image, save as a PSD file and place into Indesign from the file menu. Drag the image to the correct size and wrap the text, from here select alpha channel from the countour options and change how much space is around it where the 2mm is on the 3rd image.

A way we can make sure any measurements / positions / size we need to make are accurate. When dragging the ruler its quite jumpy and reasonable hard to keep consistent. Its much more effective to type it in from the options on the top. Again you can repeat this process making shapes or frames. Below those two images are some of the CMYK colour values for the blocks of shape.

Blending mode, Lighten Darken etc - To hide the white background of the images, use the multiply option while the images are selected.

Text Frame Options - some hidden gems in here! Adding specifically sized text boxes with gutters etc.
