Initial sketches and research into typography, playing around with elements of musical instruments or equipment and integrating them with the letter forms.
My work partner mentioned he was particularly interested in electronic music and DJing so I will look into different ideas around this. Hopefully when I get a bit further into the project I can integrate some of his other interests to create/adapt a typeface that represents his character and personality.
Using this idea I am going to concentrate on my choice of typeface to render and edit to make my own, my current thoughts and ideas are pointing me towards Gill sans as the letter forms work well but I need to talk more with my partner and see if he thinks its suitable.
