Development work on my typeface, also some ideas playing with counters and extending the backdrop to letters. A few of the designs work far better than others, and despite being image based I think these designs can be pushed much further with the use of vectors and computer editing.
The silhouette of the Y in the image below could work really well and seems more like a typeface, however I want to see how the thin lines contrast between the original typeface as well as seeing how the typeface could work as a poster on its own.
